nba news: bibby is back, hedo screws with people

The Atlanta Hawks got the best news of the day when Mike Bibby rejected the Sixers offer and took their offer.
If Bibby left, I think the Hawks would have blown up the team by the trade deadline.

Apparently the Hedo Turkoglu deal was more complicated than we thought. Hedo agreed to a lot of things in the contract with Portland and then when the Toronto offer came in, he said fuck off to Portland. Their are a lot of hurt feelings in Portland right now. I know in some leagues they have a contract before the contract that is a guarantee the free agent will sign with the team when the signing period starts. (This is the way we know who is leaving for another team) I am not sure if it is this way in the NBA but if it isn’t, it should be because of situations like this.
And there is more. Apparently Shawn Marion was close to a verbal agreement before Turkoglu accepted Toronto’s offer. I read that it got to the point where Toronto had moved on from Hedo and focused on Mario, he surprised everyone involved.
So basically Hedo fucked the Portland organization and Shawn Marion.
