The Pistons signed former Clipper Chris Wilcox to be their much needed big man off the bench. I am not a fan of Wilcox, he is not a back to the basket player that you look for in big men, nor is he a consistent rebound threat. Frankly I would rather stick with Kwame Brown than have Wilcox be the big man. The only thing Wilcox has going for him is he has “unlimited potential”. Newsflash he is 26 going on 27 this year, this is his prime or what should be his prime.
The Celtics got another steal when Marquis Daniels commited to sign with the team. Daniels is a solid player who is the ideal number 4 on any good team. He will give you atleast 10 points and 5 rebounds a game, I am underestimating those stats. Every night he is a threat to put up 30 points.
The Thunder released Earl Watson. Watson must have given them a bargain on the buyout of the contract because they had no reason to cut him.
